The disadvantage of Chrome as Default Browser
Many Windows users do not realise the disadvantage that comes with making the Chrome default browser. But, I think, every Chrome user should learn about to make the most of the computer performance.
- It opens the pages randomly when you uninstall a program or Install program. It opens the Chrome browser, and it will run in the background until you shut down the computer. If your machine has 2GB RAM or 4GB RAM, then you are wasting memory in the background.
You can use Process Lasso to slow down the Chrome.
- I consider that Google violates privacy more than any other platform. By making it default browser, you are indirectly permitting them to record search history and bookmarking for the Google Ads. I don’t have any proof to back it up, but the whistleblower Eden Snowden revealed that they are working with USA Government to spy on the people.
Google is a multi-billion-dollar company, and I cannot fathom what the company got from the bargain. These are the two concerns that I have with Chrome.
There is nothing wrong with using Chrome, but you should also be aware of the Internet business because you don’t want others to more about you than yourself. Let us know what do you think about Google Chrome in the comment section.
